matchday 11

The New York Red Bulls continue their title run with 6 games undefeated. Their latest fixture was facing a strong team in the Vancouver Whitecaps. Both teams had some decent chances, but it was Vancouver that scored first through Brian White in the 15th minute. The Red Bulls tied it up in the 2nd half through Lewis Morgan. While they pressed on for the winner, Eile received a red card at the 74th minute, which swung the moment in Vancouver’s way. That still wouldn’t stop the Red Bulls from rescuing a point at home; they went to hold on to the draw.

Their next game will be a rematch against Inter Miami. The Heron’s were the previous title holders before they got defeated 4-0 against NYRB. This one will be down in Miami.

Not as many wins as they would like, but they haven’t been easy fixtures.

The Red Bulls have played two games where they have received red cards and still held on for a draw. Of their opponents, they’ve been the best defensively. They have had some injuries to players like Stroud, who was having a solid start to the season. Vancouver has been scoring well and have multiple goal scorers during these 6 games. They have 4 points during their back-to-back away fixtures. Miami has been tearing through teams when Messi has been playing, but they are nearly averaging 2 goals against in the last 6 games.

Lastly… The Rules.
